If you want to begin monitoring your credit report to help protect yourself from identity theft, then use one of the services offered at one of the above sites.

 

 

If someone offers to monitor your credit and they are not part of one of the above sites, then tell them no.  All they are doing is going to the sites listed above and requesting the exact same information that you can request on your own – and they are probably charging more money for it as well.
