6. Make Money from Online Games

If you have never heard of World of Warcraft or Second Life, then this is probably not for you. 

However, many MMORPG enthusiasts (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) would be easily able to make some extra money by playing these games strategically.

For example, the gold found in World of Warcraft can be sold online for actual money.  While this will not earn you enough to allow you to quit your day job, if you are already playing these games, you might as well make some money at it while playing.

7. Get a Temporary Job

If you can’t commit to a working a second, part-time job on a regular basis, perhaps a temporary job would be better for you.  There are many different options to obtain daily work without the commitment of a full second job.

For example, if you love to teach, sign up to be a substitute teacher.  You will only work when you want to and always have the option of turning down work if you don’t have time that day.

Another option is to be a day laborer.  If you have some days off and want to make money, go to your local day laborer office and see what jobs they can assign you.

Often you will get cash at the end of your shift and you can see a variety of different jobs by using this technique.  However, make sure you get there early so that you will have a shot at the best jobs available for that day.

8. Take Surveys and Get Paid

There are many research companies online that will pay you for your opinions.  Often, you can make up to $5 per survey as well as be entered into drawings for much more money.  If you don’t mind taking the time to fill out the surveys – and some are very quick to fill out – then this could be a great way to supplement your income.

It will often take about a month after signing up before you will start to see any income though, because it takes a while for you to sign up for all of the different companies and to start receiving survey requests.  In order to make the most money from your survey-taking, sign up for multiple websites and then only take the surveys that offer the most money.
